AI Transparency

Calls may be handled by an AI assistant

Businesses on the 10service platform use an AI voice assistant to answer and place phone calls and to send text messages. The assistant can check availability, book, reschedule and cancel appointments, and answer questions about services on behalf of the business you are contacting.

Disclosure

The assistant identifies itself as an AI when asked, and does not claim to be a human. In states that require notice of automated or recorded calls, the required notice is played at the start of the call.

Recording and consent

Calls may be recorded and transcribed for quality assurance and to create your service appointment accurately. In two-party-consent states (including California), recording notice is provided at the start of the call. If you do not wish to be recorded, say so on the call or hang up and reach the business by text or through its website instead.

Reaching a human

You can ask for a human at any time. Depending on the hour, the assistant will transfer the call, take a callback request, or flag the conversation for the business owner, who reviews AI-handled calls.

Text messages

Appointment confirmations, reminders and follow-ups may be automated. Reply STOP to any text to opt out of further messages; automated texting honors quiet hours required by law.

Data handling

Call recordings, transcripts and booking details are processed to deliver the service requested and are subject to our Privacy Policy. California residents can exercise CCPA rights, including deletion, via the contacts listed there.
